Scorers
All parents are required to assist on the score bench during the season as directed by your team manager. Every team does it on a roster system, your Team Manager usually does a roster, and they will send it around to advise when you are scoring.
If you are away, then please swap your scoring roster with another parent.
It is important to keep a professional, neutral position when scoring, saving your enthusiastic cheering until after the game. Things sometimes go wrong with equipment, and it is okay to attract the attention of the referees when the ball is not in play to sort out any scoring problems.
First listed team on the fixtures the scorer manages the score board and is the ‘Home Team’ which is left on the IPAD (tablet) display.
Second listed team on the fixtures the scorer manages the IPAD (Tablet) and is the ‘Away Team’ which is right on the IPAD (tablet) display.
Please familiarise yourself with the following information to assist you in accurately scoring the game on the IPAD (tablet) and running the clock.
