Junior Domestic Competition

Perry Lakes Hawks Junior Domestic competition is run with 6 clubs they are – Subiaco Basketball, City Beach Basketball, Claremont/Cottesloe, Raiders, Scarborough Sharks, Woodland Warriors.

• To play the junior Domestic competition ONLY register with ONE of the above clubs.
• A player can only register for ONE team within a club.
• A player can only play Junior Domestic Competition OR Development League Competition
• The playing season runs from March to September.
• No games are scheduled during school holidays.
• Games are played on Friday night and Saturday’s (7.30am thru to late evening) at the Bendat Basketball Centre in Floreat and Lords Recreation Centre in Subiaco.
• Game timings will change from week to week please check fixtures.
• Fixtures are on Play HQ website or ‘My Hoops’ APP.
• Game timings can’t be changed to suit your convenience/calendar.
• We require every team to have a minimum of 8 players.
• If a player has played WABL in 2024, please ensure you inform our registrar and your team manager.
• If your preferred team does not proceed with registration and you do not wish to be placed in another team, do not proceed with registration.
• Under 8 competition information
• Age groups (generally):-
  • U8 (Tuesday session, mixed gender, hoop height 8-foot, School Year 2)
  • U10 mini ball (Friday/Saturday game, hoop height 8-foot, School Year 3)
  • U10 (Friday/Saturday game, hoop height 10-foot, School Year 4)
  • U12 (Friday/Saturday game, hoop height 10-foot, School Year 5) & so on.
• A player must meet Age group cut off requirements (see ‘Registration’ webpage for details).
• Sorry we are unable to provide coaches.
• Due to very limited storage, we are unable to provide teams with a basketball.
• Player shorts can be purchased upon registration or on our website for $35. Player jersey’s will be provided by our club but they need to be returned to us at the end of the season in good condition.
• Loss of a jersey will incur a $55 fee to replace the jersey.
• Subiaco Basketball Club is managed by volunteers your patience, understanding and kindness is much appreciated.
