BWA Coaching clinics

Over the season there are opportunities for coaches to attend courses and gain qualifications and accreditation that are run by BWA please refer to their website for updated course dates and times.

For courses run by Basketball WA, please contact the office on 6272 0741 for final confirmation as courses need to meet minimum numbers to clear for commencement. There may also be prerequisites for some courses.

Subiaco Coach the Coach clinics in conjunction with SkyPlay

Subiaco partners with SkyPlay Academy each season to run coaching clinics to help support our volunteer coaches with skills based and court based training ideas. This is completed at the beginning of each season generally in March before the Winter Competition commences. If you are registered in Play HQ as a team manager or a coach you will be notified via email of the dates.

If you are over 18 and do not have a child in the team you are coaching you need to provide the club with a Working with Children card. https://workingwithchildren.wa.gov.au/

Call-in a SkyPlay Coach

As additional resource to assist our volunteer coaches, Subiaco basketball club also provides one free SkyPlay coaching session per season. By completing this form SkyPlay will run a clinic for Subiaco coaches. This is suitable for all levels of coaching experience and covers drills and coaching tips. SkyPlay coaches can also be booked to attend your team training session to provide coaching support.
